Marketing Co-ordinator

OVERVIEW

The key activities outlined below represent an overview of the position of a Marketing Co-ordinator with graphic design skills and should not be seen as a prescriptive list of activities.  A flexible, proactive, and responsive approach is vital, together with initiative in identifying and focusing on what needs to be done to contribute to the achievement of business objectives. Flexibility and willingness to be proactive and help in a variety of activities will be important.

 

AIM OF THE ROLE

Support Marketing team and Design teams with creating and producing engaging and purposeful graphics and digital content for marketing materials or project related materials and assist with some administrative activities.

 

CORE ACTIVITIES

Graphic Design

  • Lead the creative design of graphic material for MCM including our website, credentials documentation, fee proposal documents, thought leadership publications, vodcasts, project videos, internal communications, external communications, reports, signage, social media and project artwork.
  • Maintain and update as appropriate the MCM brand guidelines and be the first point of call to interpret the guidelines.
  • With the input from others, edit or create and manage a suite of templates for standard documentation such as fee proposals or credentials documents.
  • Be part of the design or consultancy team on fee earing projects developing appropriate documentation or designs for interior or exterior artwork, signage, welcome booklets, reports, communications or other project related collateral.
  • Become part of the pitch team for new business and develop stretching and imaginative ideas for presenting MCM in the most favourable way as appropriate.

 

Marketing Support

  • Generation of RFP responses, ensuring PDF copies published onto DOT (intranet)
  • Maintaining and keeping up to date standard marketing information on server and in DOT (Intranet)
  • Presentation templates
  • Image library
  • RFP support documentation i.e., case studies, CVs, insurance certificates, financial reports etc.
  • Production of credentials documents for use in new business generation documents/presentations
  • Attend weekly marketing meeting, take minutes
  • Input and update entries into DOT and provide weekly sales leads reports to the Sales & Marketing Team
  • Research lead information and feedback to Sales & Marketing Team
  • Assist or lead marketing campaigns from time to time for strategic initiatives such as Skunkworks, Beyond Walls, withBIM or others as they develop. Work with leaders to develop campaign strategies, messaging and produce collateral.
  • Assisting with scheduling/organisation of marketing events. Maintaining schedule and ensuring kept up to date. Including organisation of associated travel & accommodation if required.
  • Scheduling client feedback sessions for MD or other Directors, liaising with Project Leaders to check when a project is at appropriate stage. Attend meetings and take notes when required
  • Allocation of new job numbers in DOT and initial project set-up
  • Maintaining marketing annual subscriptions and memberships e.g. BCO, Corenet, RIBA etc
  • Updating website and Company social media in conjunction with Marketing Manager
  • Creating of Newsletter via HubSpot & Mailchimp and keeping mailing lists up to date
  • Support in business development activities when required
  • Support in PR activities with press and media. Preparing press releases, organising tours or visits to projects and keeping relationships with editors.
  • Manage the process and produce content to submit for awards, such as BCO Awards, AJ Awards, MIX Awards, FX Awards and others.

 

Skills

  • Fluent with Adobe Creative software including InDesign, Photoshop
  • Video production software experience is a bonus (Premier Pro, Rush, iMovie, Final cut)
  • Fluent with MS Office
  • Experience using Marketing platforms for E-mail Marketing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen to work as part of a team as well as taking the initiative to work solo and manage your own time to complete tasks on time.
