MCM are pleased to announce the commencement of a new chapter for our business.
At this time of change for the world of work and our personal priorities, we will be pioneering something very new, leading to a radical redefinition of our own business.
From September 1st 2020, we will be experimenting and piloting a new workspace hub in London to test and learn how we want to use workspace. This will then inform our long-term future model.
We will take our time to see, measure and explore. Our goal is to identify the true purpose of a central work hub that is the right fit for MCM and our clients.
The decision to pivot our business and our location is directly in line with our three predictions for successful organisations stated in the MCM Skunkworks Manifesto – The New World of Work, published in June:
- A Return to Human – Caring for and respecting our people, supporting their desire for balance in their work and life.
- A Radial Office – Providing choice to our people- a small dynamic, central hub space, plus alternative remote and / or home locations.
- A Gig Company – Trust in our people and in strategic partner organisations, opening opportunities for our people and our areas of expertise to be truly global.
As part of this drive for change, we are truly excited to vacate 71 Hopton Street at the end of August, which has been our home for 20 years.
Our move is more than just a physical move. We are shifting MCM, embarking on defining a new type of creative business that puts people at its heart and with a powerful purpose:
“Designing a future that people love”.
Our people will continue to drive change and create inspiring places regardless of location. From ‘Radial Office’ locations, remote and home workplaces to the new London Hub, 180 Borough High Street – we can assure you all projects will still be running smoothly.
