It's B Corp Month - We Go Beyond!
Sure, we could have chosen to run our business like most others, but then the status quo isn’t really solving the issues we face today, is it? Our belief is that the role of business needs to go beyond just benefitting those at the top and should model an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system where purpose and profit can and should co-exist.
March is B Corp Month and whether it’s through raising much needed funds for charities we align ourselves with, purchasing goods from ethical suppliers or educating our employees on more sustainable consumer behaviour. We’re proud to be a part of this community that is striving to change the ‘business as usual’ model.
From a purchasing perspective, some simple internal changes we champion are:
Stationary Suppliers: RedBox
REDBOX acknowledges that within the purchasing of goods and services it should take into account how things have been made, the ethical origin and how they will be disposed of.
Website Hosting: Kinsta
Kinsta is a green hosting company, using Google Cloud Platform and Cloudflare to power thier hosting infrastructure, which means websites run on 100% renewable energy.
Coffee Capsules: Cru Kafé
CRU Kafe source coffee that is both Organic & Fairtrade Certified. Their producers are paid a fair wage, investing their premiums into the communities and towns their growers support.
Company Mobiles: Reboxed
Reboxed are on a mission to rehome 100 million devices by 2030, with a new circular business model – rehome, rebox, repeat.
