Supporting the expanding legal firm with a future fit workplace strategy and beautifully detailed new accommodation.
MCM were appointed by Jenner & Block a US based legal practice to undertake a strategy and design fit out of their new offices in the Broadgate development near Liverpool Street.
The new office needed to be a destination which provided all the tools for a hybrid working environment. With global offices key consideration was also given to technology to allow seamless virtual communication regardless of location. With a high number of individual and shared offices, we also placed a strong emphasis on additional amenity spaces that would create cultural glue and provide a choice of spaces for the team to work in such as a library space and café/social space.
The palette focused on warm, natural, robust materials which would provide employees with the same level of comfort as they would find within their own homes. This was further enhanced with ensuring all spaces had access to good natural light and planting to contribute to employee wellbeing. Flexibility was also a key consideration with a multifunctional reception space and divisible meeting rooms opening up to create a larger event space with the best views over Exchange Square.
