MCM undertook a full CAT A refurbishment of the existing 40,000 sq.ft 4th floor office space and common parts at 111 Buckingham Palace Road to provide a new image and brand for the building.
As part of our works on 111 Buckingham Palace Road we were tasked with reinvigorating the floor plate and giving it some character, whilst allowing for tenants to brand the space. We came up with the idea of using timber planks to the sides of the lifts and in the lobby areas, which helped to give a pleasant natural feel to the space. The facades were sprayed black to contrast from the white ceiling and columns.
Works included the successful approval by The City of Westminster for 3 new terraces totaling 3,000 sq,ft, the refurbishment of the full office floor, including ceilings, lifts, lift lobbies, accommodation stairs, welfare facilities compliant with current BCO recommendations and upgrades to the existing façade.
