Lancashire Insurance Group’s 20 Fenchurch office transformation embodies their unique values while adapting to evolving work dynamics.

In 2014, Lancashire Insurance Group made its London home on Level 29 of 20 Fenchurch Street.
As an entrepreneurial and dynamic company they have since seen significant growth.
This prompted them in 2022 to acquire an additional 12,000 sq ft on the south side of Level 28 which served as a driver to create a space that was to be a natural evolution of the Lancashire identity.

Creating an Appealing Destination: To make the space enticing for employees and visitors, several features were integrated: - Feature Lighting: Strategic feature lighting ensures visibility from the ground and sets Lancashire's space apart within the building. - Broker Bar: A new barista-staffed broker bar fosters interaction and serves as an attractor. - Curated Gallery Space: Lancashire were keen to uplift their space and worked with art consultants to establish a curated gallery as a point of interest and to drive creativity. - Furniture Integration: New and existing furniture were seamlessly integrated, showcasing Lancashire's commitment to sustainability. A new feature staircase links the visitor arrival space to the employee lounge above promoting connectivity between the 2 floors and ensures an easy transition between client facing spaces and work areas. The new enlarged workspace has been refreshed and now unites the entire workforce into a shared and open, more connected level 29 and is designed to support Lancashire’s hybrid working.
